Investors
The Investor Hub may introduce investors to companies seeking investment under SEIS. Tax relief is not automatic. Eligibility depends on the company, the share issue, the investor and continued compliance with HMRC requirements. Eligible investors may be able to claim income-tax relief equal to 50% of the qualifying subscription, subject to their personal circumstances and the applicable statutory limits. Investors should obtain independent tax and financial advice.
Nothing on this page or elsewhere on this site is tax advice. Tax treatment depends on individual circumstances and may change.
AIGoGo does not provide investment advice and is not authorised to do so. Information here is not a recommendation to invest.
Investing in early-stage companies involves significant risk, including the loss of the entire amount invested. Early-stage investments should form only part of a diversified portfolio.
Your capital is at risk. Returns are not guaranteed and past performance is not a guide to future performance.
Shares in early-stage companies are illiquid. There is no established market for selling them and you may not be able to exit for many years, if at all.
SEIS relief is only available to eligible investors in eligible companies and share issues. Advance assurance, where obtained, does not guarantee relief for any investor.
Official guidance on the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme is published by HMRC: HMRC SEIS guidance.
SEIS information on this page was last verified on 17 July 2026. SEIS eligibility is assessed company by company and share issue by share issue; no AIGoGo company should be assumed to qualify unless its current status says so.
